Off-Rolls to Bank’s Employee: Bharat Kumar

Bharat started working as an of-roll employee on completion, lack of guidance had its impact as the tag of an “off roll employee ” limited his growth within the organisation and into other banks too. At a CTC of Rs 1.8 LPA with 6 years of experience , Bharat was really wanting a suitable platform to kick start his career. He decided to enroll for the weekend batch , did a spectacular job balancing his job with his course and this hard work finally paid off as he secured a job with ING Vysya bank @2.8 LPA in Business Banking. A salary hike of close to 60% to add to it on the bank pay roll surely would be a big boost for his career.

A journey from a GRADUATE to a BANKER: Hasan Sheikh

Hasan a B.Com. (H) student from Delhi University did his Bank ready programme (120hrs) along with his final year of graduation. It took lot of hard work and determination to manage 2 courses at a time. On completion of the program, Hasan sheikh made it to Dunia Finance, DUBAI at a package of 7.5 LPA. Thousands of students enroll at Delhi University every year, but a very small percentage of these gets a JOB of his/her interest. Others  take one of the many paths discussed in our last post.

Option for a GRADUATE….

Our next few posts will focus on various case studies, focusing on how PSIB can make a difference for a graduate pursuing any of the above discussed option. Stay tuned…..

About PSIB !!!

PSIB strives towards bridging the gap between BFSI industry & the Aspirants. The bank ready talent that passes from various programs at PSIB is trained by experienced bankers to ensure the productivity graph of the students is on the upward trend right from the start. The basic job orientation and the necessary skills required to be efficient and effective at work helps freshers stand-up and be counted thus reducing the cost for the bank .

When the employer values the resource for its productivity it is bound to ensure them growth and good pay scales. From the recent trend (more then 50 placements), the students have been able to recover >80 % of the training cost from their 1st monthly salary itself. This highlights the willingness of the industry to recruit from us and most importantly the value we create for our biggest ambassadors “Our Students”.
PSIB came into existence with objective of providing employment opportunities to the the youth and most importantly create local employment for them. With this vision PSIB intends to take its presence to tier C, D cities across Northern India in its 1st phase and then to PAN India level to ensure the present youth of India is made part of the expected accelerated growth in the banking industry.
Why do banks hire from PSIB -
Bank Hiring
Availability of bank ready talent ensures reduced cost both in terms of monetary and time  for the employer as the joinee has already undergone the required orientation at his own cost that too prior to his joining the organisation, thus enabling him to contribute in the revenue generation mechanism at the earliest. Secondly the bank is able to fill the openings locally hence reducing the relocation cost and indirectly reducing employee turnover ratio.
